Atmospherically corrected reflectances
An atmospheric correction is implemented during the day for bands 1 to 7. To that end, the SMAC software (Rahman and Dedieu, 1994) has been selected. This software is available as both IDL function and executable. This program runs on a pixel by pixel basis, and needs additional information such as (standard values in parentheses): atmosphere type (continental), atmospheric pressure (1013 hPa), aerosol optical thickness (0.05) and ozone concentration (0.33 atm.cm). Additionally, water vapor product is needed as an input of the SMAC software.
